Mari is a three-year-old Pyr.

HEALTH

This Pyr is fully vaccinated and spayed. She is positive for heartworms, and we are treating her now. She can be adoption pending and will be able to leave the rescue in May.

BEHAVIOR

This dog is loving and sweet to humans, but she dislikes other dogs. She should be the only pet.

Mari should not be interrupted while eating. We feed all dogs separately at the rescue and do not disturb them while there is food in their bowls. This is best practice with Pyrs.

APPEARANCE

Mari is white with lovely tan accents.

She is a typical female Pyr who is about 85 lbs. at a healthy adult weight.

Mari dislikes other dogs and should be the only pet. She would thrive with experienced dog owners who can work with her on socialization, particularly on leash when walking. She also should not be interrupted while eating, which is a best practice for feeding Pyrs.
